Niji-iro no Glass leads Hamao Kyosuke and Watanabe Daisuke reprise their roles as Takumi and Gii. Entering his third year at Shido Gakuen, Takumi-kun is no longer allowed to room with Gii because of school regulations. Takumi has trouble adjusting to life with another roommate, and Gii, now a dorm monitor, seems to be acting increasingly aloof towards him.
